Responsibilities

Commissioning and final check of our CNC machines in our factory before these will be shipped to our customers;

Installation of our CNC machines as well as the associated CAD/CAM software at our customers’ factory;

Training and support of our customers in operation of our CNC machines as well as the associated CAD/CAM software until the production start at our customers’ factory;

Providing after-sales support which includes maintenance, repairs and retrofits on site;

Providing customer support via phone, chat, email and remote access via Internet from our office;

Supporting our sales team by conducting product demonstrations, feasibility studies & benchmarks, designing custom solutions, etc.;

Other technical tasks related to CNC machines that may arise on a case to case basis.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;

Engineering background (Mechanical, electrical and/or mechatronics);

Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English, additional German and/or Russian language skills are a plus;

In-depth experience in operation of CNC machines (using Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Fagor, Beckhoff TwinCAT or similar control system) and associated CAD/CAM software (AlphaCAM, SprutCAM, Vectric Aspire, MasterCAM, PowerMill, ArtCAM Pro, EnRoute or similar) is required;

Good knowledge in computer hardware and software is required;

Knowledge in commissioning CNC controls such as Eckelmann, Siemens SINUMERIK 840Dsl / SINUMERIK 808D Advanced is preferred;

Knowledge of PLC programming with Siemens SIMATIC S7, CODESYS is preferred;

Knowledge in motion control (Siemens SINAMICS S120) is preferred;

Ability to travel and be at customer sites, mostly Europe and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
